The EGFR Resisters and CEC Oncology just held the sixth annual EGFR Resisters Research Summit December 12th and 13th in Louisville, Kentucky. We brought together young investigators from all across the country who are doing work related to EGFR positive lung cancer. And as in the past, we had a fantastic group of five mentor judges who are leaders in lung cancer, chaired by Dr. Zosia Piotrowska. They gave feedback on the young investigators presentations and worked in small groups with all of the participants. This year we were fortunate to have 15 early career investigators from all over the country as well, that attended the summit. In addition to getting experience in presenting their work at the summit, the early career investigators truly benefit from the development of collaborative relationships between themselves and the mentor judges.
