Experts share updates on the latest therapies and clinical trials, walk through important factors to consider when making decisions about your care, and explain key terms in easy-to-understand language. There is also a Q&A session.

Session 2: Effective Communication Throughout the Cancer Care Experience

Talking openly with your care team helps ensure you are choosing the best path forward together. Experts share practical tips on how to ask questions, get second opinions, and make sure your voice is heard in treatment decisions. They’ll also talk about how side effects, lifestyle, and family needs can play a role in decision-making.

Session 3: Living with EGFRm Lung Cancer

EGFRm lung cancer impacts both physical and emotional health. This session discusses managing side effects, coping with the stress of scans (scanxiety), resources for support, and finding balance in everyday life.

Session 4 Part 1: Clinical Trials – Access, Answers, and Action

Clinical trials can feel overwhelming but they may offer additional treatment options. This session covers what clinical trials are, how to access them, and what to expect if you participate.

Session 4 Part 2: Finding Appropriate Trials and the Caregiver Perspective

A panel of patients, doctors, and caregivers discuss how to find the right trial for your needs and how to use the EGFR Resisters Clinical Trials After Tagrisso Spreadsheet that lists different trials depending on what mutation you have, no new mutations, leptomeningeal disease, HER2, Exon 20, MET, brain mets, etc. Also patients and caregivers share their perspectives and experiences with clinical trials.

EGFR Resister Annabelle Gurwitch discusses her lung cancer journey with its ups and downs and how she has used humor to manage some of her most challenging moments.

Patient Breakout Session: Living Well with Uncertainty

Health Care Provider Panel: Hot Topics

Lung cancer specialists discuss the following topics: leptomeningeal disease, surgery in advanced stage lung cancer, oligometastatic disease, radiation while on systemic therapy, and liquid biopsies.
